The president said the release of the full report "wouldn't bother me at all", though he added that the decision to do so would be up to Barr.

Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, a Kentucky Republican, objected, saying Barr must be given time to determine which portions of the report can be divulged without revealing classified information.

During the investigation, many Democrats repeatedly stated their belief that Trump's inner circle did collude with Russian Federation and that the president later sought to evade justice - pronouncements that did not go unnoticed by White House press secretary Sarah Sanders.

"It could not have been better, " Trump said of the summary of the Mueller report by Attorney General William Barr, which did not find the president colluded with Russian Federation over the 2016 elections.

He said he wants them to abandon efforts to simply repeal "Obamacare" and instead focus on a replacement for President Barack Obama's signature law.

The heads of the committees asked Barr to send them the full Mueller report by April 2 and start sending Congress the underlying documents the same day. Mueller did not determine whether Trump obstructed justice in the investigation, but Barr and his team said no prosecution was warranted. The long-anticipated report found that the 2016 Trump campaign did not collude with Russian Federation; the attorney general also exonerated Trump from obstruction charges although Mueller's report did not come to a definitive conclusion on the issue.

American Airlines extends Boeing 737 Max flight cancellations through late April
Last week, Indonesia's national carrier said it planned to cancel its order for 49 737 MAX jets, citing a loss of passenger trust. On Wednesday, the US Justice Department has summoned Boeing officials over safety and certification procedures of 737 Max planes.

"Your four-page summary of the special counsel's review is not sufficient for Congress as a coequal branch of government, to perform this critical work", wrote Reps.

Trump didn't specify whom he wanted to be "looked at", but the remarks followed years of calls in his political rallies to prosecute Hillary Clinton and, more recently, to look into the FBI and Justice Department officials who were involved with the investigation of her use of a private email server while secretary of state.

After a series of strategy meetings, Democrats vowed to continue their multiple investigations into Trump.

At the same time, Cornyn urged the release of as much of the Mueller report as possible, consistent with Justice Department regulations and USA law.

White House spokeswoman Sarah Sanders called for congressional hearings to investigate prominent Trump critics including former U.S. Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, former CIA Director John Brennan, former FBI Director James Comey and other FBI figures. They just used it as an excuse. The Justice Department has not said whether it will release Mr Mueller's full report, but Mr Barr has said he will be as transparent as possible.

Senator Lindsey Graham, the Republican Senate Judiciary Committee chairman and a Trump ally, told reporters he would ask for an investigation. "Let's go on about governing the country, " said Graham, who spent the weekend with the president in Florida. "You know who they are". This summary raises as may questions as it was supposed to answer.
