The high-end Nokia 9 PureView has its main USP is the hexagonal shape of a five-camera module at the back (all rated at 12MP) with support for the ZEISS lens, becoming the world's first five-camera smartphone.

So let's explain what the Nokia 9 PureView offers and how it works.

Other features include a 5.99-inch display, IP68 water resistance and an in-screen fingerprint scanner that seems to be all the rage this season. Most notably it has five cameras on the back - but this is nothing like the four-camera phones of Samsung or the three-camera phone of Huawei. No rear fingerprint sensor is seen as well so we can assume that there will be an in-display fingerprint sensor on the AMOLED display. HDR images and video captured with Nokia 9 PureView feature exceptional dynamic range, preserving the details within the highlights and shadows alike.

Down in the guts you'll find an upgraded Snapdragon 845 CPU, 6GB RAM and 128GB storage.

The Nokia 4.2 is "as minimalistic as possible", with a 2.5D glass front and back, polycarbonate frame, and metal internal structure with a 5.71-inch HD+ display. Better editing in Adobe Lightroom Of course, with all that image data you may be wondering about storage.

It has a 5.45-inch IPS display with an aspect ratio rated at 18:9 and comes with support for Google Go apps.

Measuring 148.95 x 71.3 x 8.39mm, weighing 161g and with rounded corners and curved edges the Nokia 4.2 easy to hold, and it can be used one-handed without too much issue. The feature phone comes in three colour options of white, black and red. Nokia 1 Plus runs the latest Android Go Pie edition, which is customised for phones with less than 1GB RAM.

The Nokia 4.2 is described by Nokia as offering an "affordable flagship experience".

So I've agreed to review the $150 Nokia 1.

"Nokia 4.2", "Nokia 3.2", "Nokia 1 Plus", and "Nokia 210" would start being made available between March and April at the starting price of $169, $139, $99 and $35 respectively, the company added.

The depth map allows lovely bokeh, giving you the possibility to adjust focus in Google Photos after you have taken the shot. The India pricing and availability details of both smartphones are yet to be revealed. Under the hood, it runs Snapdragon 439 SoC.

We managed to snap a few shots with the 4.2, and while quality was generally acceptable, the camera app and shutter do have a noticeable amount of lag.

Nokia's also working with Google to integrate a dedicated Google Assistant button on the side of the phone, allowing owners to quickly check their Google Feed or activate Assistant's walkie-talkie mode by holding the button down.

Obviously, it's not all about the number of megapixels, but those who want to blow-up their images onto canvases and posters should take a look at the Nokia 9 PureView.
