British Airways jet aborts landing due to ferocious winds

A British Airways plane has been filmed being forced to abandon its landing as strong winds from Storm Erik batter the UK.
The warning is valid from 5am on Friday morning to 6am on Saturday.
Rescue services are also warning that seas are still high and will take some time to settle.
Met Éireann has said wind speeds are set to average between 65-80km/h in affected areas, with gusts hitting up to 130km/h, adding that there will be stormy conditions for a time in western and northern coastal counties.
Weather warnings have been issued for parts of Scotland as Storm Erik continues to roll in.
The Met Office has said there could be flooding in parts of the United Kingdom, as well as nightmare travel conditions amid 70mph gales and sheet rain.
